Tell me a little about yourself outside of kink. What do you do day to day?
I enjoy working in an industrial research lab. I equally enjoy coming home everyday to annoy my friends with banter, to watch cooking shows on tv, to create arts and crafts, and to read…. but to especially read science facts of ANY kind.
Tell me a little about yourself inside kink.
I identify as a doll. Traditionally a doll would take on the attributes her Toymaker/Creator would assign to her. However, I do not have a Toymaker, therefore I am a doll waiting to come to life. Within this, I still try to carry some charm, some aesthetic appeal, and some wonderment until a Toymaker can be found.
Are your kink identities and ‘real life’ identities similar? How do they differ? How are they the same?
Somewhat similar. It is hard to separate myself in any way, but I do understand the need to be professional at work, practical at home, and then some other type of sociable in social situations. But at the base level, all my ideals, approaches, thought processes, and social awareness comes from the same space. I alter myself enough for the comfort of others, but I am not truly concerned if they see all of me, kink or not.
How do you participate in kink activities? Are they just in the bedroom, or do they extend beyond that?
Well our bedroom is pretty vanilla by some peoples standards. We don’t hide our lifestyle. We go to parties, we have people visit, we tell our families about our adventures…Kink is just…well..it exists always, but is not the definition of our existence.
What do you think is the most important part of a rope-scene for you?
I would imagine communication will be important for me. This will be my first experience in rope.
What do you think is important to keep in mind, when picking a rope partner or partners?
Having the same vision in mind. Having a great understanding of the comfort of one another.
What do you wish you’d have known, when you were just starting out in rope?
I believe if my first experience is with you, then I would not need to wish for anything different to have been done.
What is the best bit of advice you could give to somebody who wants to try rope?
Make sure your first experience is the experience you want all other experiences to live up to.
What would you want someone who knows nothing about rope to know about rope, and about you?
I know nothing about rope, but I know myself. If I do something that would generally make me uncomfortable, it is because I find it beautiful…and beauty of that magnitude is worth some suffering.
Why did you want to be a part of this project?
Because you are an artist. You are a very appealing artist. I want to experience that with you.
