Tell me a little about yourself outside of kink. What do you do day to day?
I study Psychology and I also worked in retail. I learn burlesque and love pin up modelling.
Tell me a little about yourself inside kink.
I’m an artistic soul that loves kink as a means to engage with emotions and other people on a deeper level then society allows.
Are your kink identities and ‘real life’ identities similar? How do they differ? How are they the same?
I think my kink identities are a free version of who I am inside.
What first attracted you to rope?
The texture looked like it would feel nice.
What attracts you to it now?
All the amazing things you can do with rope. It is so versatile!
Why or how is rope different from other methods of bondage, for you?
Rope can give feelings, sensations and emotions that other types of bondage lack.
How does rope make you feel?
Safe, loved, challenged and empowered.
What is it like after a rope-session?
Floaty usually. A happy serene place of bliss.
What do you think is the most important part of a rope-scene for you?
When you play with rope, is the focus on the the rope, or are other styles of play used at the same time? What other styles of play are incorporated into your rope-play?
Sometimes it’s just rope; that’s all you need. Other times wax or knives are commonly involved.
What other kink activities interest you?
Wax, knives, spanking, sensation play, flogging and mental dominance.
What do you wish you’d have known, when you were just starting out in rope?
That it’s ok to lose yourself in rope. No one will judge you for your body or your love of rope.
What is the best bit of advice you could give to somebody who wants to try rope?
Take the time to learn safety, learn what could go wrong and how to prevent it, how to spot it and how to deal with it if an accident happens.
What would you want someone who knows nothing about rope to know about rope, and about you?
That rope isn’t painful! Or doesn’t have to be. I love creativity but often I am afraid of showing it.
Why did you want to be a part of this project?
Because rope and kink is not scary or painful or weird. It can be anything from loving to artistic to freedom. I want to show that to the world!
